Just saw on the news that it's still in the proposal stage. They didn't say what still had to be done but that the new proposed opening date is set for May 2013.

We've been here three years without it. I could go another 3, 6, 9...
It'll be interesting to see how it might affect the new phase at Ranch @ Brushy Creek. It looks like it will be practically in their back yards.

I don't care too much if they actually build or not but I know a lot of people on this forum do care. We'll see what happens. It maybe another 3 or 6 years.

It was supposed to already have been built by now.

I predict it will not be built within the next 3 years.

That's OK with me and they can hold off on the WallyWorld until then as well.

I'll trade those two for a Trader Joe's and a good BBQ joint at the same intersection.

I haven't kept up with this but had to wonder where all the water will come from?

If they throw a few penguins down the slide every so often, will that take care of the people who think a zoo is necessary?

can someone fill me in on why you wouldn't want this awesome water park to end up being built here? Is it just the crowds? The endless summers will be so much more fun with it!! There are so many people with kids in the area, I being one of them, that would love to have a water park in town. Bring it on!
