does anyone ever wonder if austin will be in the nfl? We have the best college football team but no pro team.It would be nice to have your favorite college and pro football team in the same town.After all Houston or Dallas have pro teams but no good college teams.

Believe it or not, there are a few people living in Austin who do not care about the Cowboys or the Texans, or the Longhorns (GASP, sweet Jesus) and are huge NFL and college football fans.

San Antonio will get a team before Austin does. They already have a suitable stadium, and the lack of a big-time college program in town would be a plus to the NFL.

Suitable stadium my butt. Alamo dome is a piece of junk money pit. That dome is so far from being anything like a current nfl stadium it's not even funny. It would probably be cheaper to build a new one than to do all the upgrades and retrofitting needed for it to be an approved nfl venue.
