I'm sorry. Is Gloria's on Sixth not part of the same Dallas chain as Gloria's at the Domain? I fail to see how statement is "nonsense".

Why can't people just answer questions and be helpful? People are moving here. Things change. City-data is a site people use when they are getting familiar with new areas. Geez. Remember what your Mama told you about saying things.

I got told the same thing looking for tex mex food when we lived in Colorado. You're just not going to find a ton of what you are used to because you moved to a different region of the US.

That's true. Which is why people take to the internet, describe the food type, and ask if anybody knows where they can get it.

If you want to try a nice, reasonably priced place that isn't quite Tex-Mex and isn't quite Cali, go to El Caribe on N Lamar, I don't want to get into a back and forth with people on here about what type of food is best. I am a Mexican-American, I enjoy Tex-Mex, California and New Mexico style and traditional Mexican food, this place is very good and the OP should try it.

enchiladas y mas? not sure if it is Cali style, but my Mexican-American husband swears by the place. And I love it too.

Enchiladas Y Mas is NOT Cali based and is about as Tex-Mex as it gets, their fajitas are real good and the fajitas for 2 is a GREAT deal.
