Cptn, if that was in your family, you have my condolences.

Unfortunately one of my sons also discovered that oddity last year.

Second the condolences. We discovered this while selling our aunt's car FIVE years after her husband passed away. Serious red tape for a $2000 vehicle sale

Make sure it's "JTWROS" "Joint Tenants with rights of Survivorship" just like stock certificates.

Have y'all actually heard someone refer to I-35 as "the 35"? Or Mopac as "the Mopac"?

Wow.

Wow.
Stranger things have happened.

HEB is spelled out, not pronounced

I found that one out the hard way.
First time shopping there I asked the cashier if it was pronounced as Heb or Heb (long e vs short e).
She said H-E-B (said the letters) ?
I said "Yes, how do you pronounce it ?"
LOL..right out of "Who's on first".

Worse than that - I actually heard someone refer to Mopac as "The 1."
