Hi all.
I am working on planning a big anniversary party on a budget. I'm basically looking for a ROOM big enough for approx 100 people and a dance floor. I hope to have it catered and bring our own alcohol. Location and ambience isn't too much of a factor....Like...even a barn would work as long as it has lights and electrical outlets! Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Salt Lick comes to mind, but no idea on their prices. You would likely have to use their food, but can bring your own alcohol, afaik.

The garden center auditorium at Zilker Gardens is inexpensive and BYOB. It is reservable through the city of Austin and it's great.

I have no idea if it applies in Austin, but in San Antonio you are required (at least on some city properties) to hire security if alcohol is served.

Rabb house in Round Rock looks like a nice venue. I walk by it all the time.

I'm not sure what your budget is but here is an option-brodiehomestead.com. Looks a bit pricey though.

If Pflugerville is an option, Pfluger Hall sounds like what you're describing.

I can't find an official website, but I'm sure if you call the city they can help you with info/booking - Pfluger Hall » Pfun, TX

I've been to a couple of Quinceaneras there, both were catered with outside food, and the host brought all the beer/liquor as well. Nothing fancy, but plenty of room for 100 and a stage/dance floor.

I know that Wagner's Backyard in Pflugerville is pretty spacious, maybe (?) they'd be willing to work something out on one of their slower nights? I know they wouldn't be BYOB, but perhaps they could give you good drink specials as a group...?
