If he's going to be working in Bastrop, why not live in Bastrop? Bastrop to Dripping Springs is about 50 miles. That would be a hundred miles a day, 5 days a week. That commute will get old real quick. The price of gas today is $2.69 a gallon. Bastrop is plenty good as a place to live. It has more of just about everything than Dripping Springs, as far as restaraunts and stores and schools and things to do. I would not even consider Dripping Springs if my job was in Bastrop.
