That's not what I asserted. I wasn't talking about the entire school, just the historically entitled demographics of the ruling class. Those that don't belong to that demographic are telling the 1% to check their privilege. Creating an additional "non-binary" category wasn't good enough, so they went further to strip the titles from those that would have otherwise held the position. Being good looking, QB on the football team, most popular, and wealthy will no longer get you title of "King". Accolades like this are now being denied to those kids in the name of "inclusivity". If it was about creating inclusiveness, the school would have included additional titles to reward under-represented people, but they didn't. they removed the title altogether as a form of punishment aimed at the establishment.

Who cares, really.

Today's teens aren't apathetic...in fact, they're more attuned to things like gender neutrality, sexuality, and all of the things fogies seemingly find strange. I may not be in that generation and there are things that are different to me (generational gap and all), but I'm a parent of a teen and you're way off.

Who cares about being a homecoming king or queen? Many successful attractive people weren't and they didn't lose any sleep. I know I sure didn't. Are you also actually saying that non-white people can't be good looking, wealthy, and/or popular?

That is a whole lot of assumption of why they chose to do what they did. I guess your point of view projected onto people you don't know of understand. It is possible they just thought it was a neat thing to do.

And yeah, WHS is pretty much that 1% or close to it. So the 1% were sticking it to the 1%?

Westwood High students apparently do not learn about X and Y chromosomes in biology class.
Do they still have biology class or has it been replaced by gender studies?

Let them have unisex bathrooms. Maybe then they'll learn the difference between a bull and a cow.

So the kids don't want anyone to be excluded. Relax. It's still one of the most rigorous high schools in the state. The kids voted for it. Who cares? With everything going on in the world, is this really what bigoted, uneducated conservatives are worrying about now that they lost an election?

Westwood High School is in Travis County (not Williamson), as are most of the students who attend. Travis County has been woke for a while.

most of the westwood attendance zone is not in williamson county.

Westwood is a majority minority school. Roughly 1100 whites, 950 asians, 400 hispanics and 100 blacks.

You can think of it as a nerd school which will tend to skew more liberal. I personally think it is fine.
