artsyguy, based on your posts as a whole, the only people you run into are rude, sarcastic, prejudiced against gays, don't want to date you, and a whole long host of other unpleasant things.

I, and my friends (gay or not), on the other hand, living in the same city where you say this has been pretty much your experience, or anywhere else, for that matter, rarely run into these kinds of people (except occasionally online).

Odd, that. Wonder what the explanation is.

You're a real estate agent. You will say anything. lol.

Also I never said anybody was prejudiced against gays or didn't want to date me.

I just said sarcasm was weird there.

Yes, you did. Often. Right here on city-data. Complained about how you couldn't get a date in Austin because we had no section of town that was exclusively for gays, about how people you worked with were prejudiced against gays, how everything that went wrong for you was all the fault of everyone else in Austin and it was a horrible city. On and on and on and on. I'm quite surprised that you don't remember.

A few weeks ago, I would have said South Austin, but then Freddie's got the smackdown from the noise ordinance.

I missed part of the news story last night where it was talking about a lot of bands getting together to fight the new ordinances. I hope they win
