Hello all,
We will be relocating to Austin (from WA state) where my fiancee job will take him to Avery Ranch Subdivision. I have looked online on the rentals for that area and it seems like everything is so expensive.. over 1200 a month to rent a place! I, however do not want to live in the Avery Ranch if monthly rent is that high and am looking for something a little cheaper in the surrounding areas, but have no idea on what there is out there. Our transportation at first will be depended on the Metro Bus Routes so a town that has a bus route is a plus that leads into Avery Ranch.
Can anyone possibly help me out here and give me some useful and helpful information please!?!
Thank you all for your time and hope to hear from you soon!

Is this $1200 for a house, say 3 bd/2 ba? If so, that is pretty good actually. We paid $1350 a month for a 3 bd/2 ba in Round Rock over two years ago. It was a brand new house, and we were the first occupants, but still that seemed pricey.

This was in Round Rock Ranch in the newest section. If we knew Avery could be had for $1200, we would have done that. But, I am assuming you are talking about a house...

I don't think CapMetro services to Avery Ranch. The farthest they travel on Parmer is till Mopac jn.
We currently rent at a very nice complex; 2 br/2 ba/1 garage ; the rent around $1000 - and i think it is reasonable.

hmmm I guess it was the website I was looking at, probably need to look more. So is RoundRock right outside of Avery Ranch as well as Cedar Park?

Block House Creek subdivision is wonderful! I've lived there for 15 yrs...& raised two sons in BHC's quiet, family friendly, and safe neighborhood. High speed and metro transit is available 2-3 miles north of the entrance to BHC on (old) 183 North. BHC is located on the CP/Leander city limits ~ 2 miles north of the 1431/Old 183 intersection.
