In case you haven't seen it yet, apparently a plane crashed into one of the Echelon buildings on the ridge by 183 and Mopac. There is an executive education center, the IRS, and several small tech companies in the complex. The building hit looks very damaged.

FBI field office. Not likely an accident.

Exactly. My husband told me the exact same thing. He is located in an office about a half mile away and can see the smoke. He said there is an FBI office located in the building that got hit.

This is also far away from any approach to the airport, right? And during rush hour? KLBJ used to use a traffic plane, which would often be flying over the busy highways at this time -- but they stopped doing that over a year ago.

My prayers go out to the people in that plane and building.

Based on the pictures, it certainly appears so. There do not appear to be any signs of the aircraft, it must have been obliterated. One side of the building looks very bad and is apparently still burning.

Coincidence seems more likely.

But eventually we will find out. I know folks who work in that area not sure of the building, I hope they are safe.

I heard there are 2 people unaccounted for and some people being treated for smoke inhalation - I hope it's not any worse than that.

My husband just told me about it since his office is nearby. He says he can see the smoke from there.
