I had assumed that this was in So. California, but to my surprise it was Sydney. Now, I know there is a sizable aboriginal population, but what about everyone in the video? Is there a sizable African population? Or are these more than likely aboriginals?

Most of the dark skinned kids looked African to me. I'm not aware of aboriginal Australians having afro. (tightly-curled hair)
Most Australian aboriginals look more like darker-skinned South Asians imho. (Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Bangledesh etc.)

Definitely African. Yes, we're getting a sizeable African population via the Humanitarian category of migrant (refugees). Lots from Sudan.

Very talented. You'd get great leg strength dancing like that!

Or screwed up knees

There's alot of excellent Aboriginal hip hop dancers, but the people in the video definately look African.

Aboriganls look nothing like Africans, its easy to tell the difference.

Anyway back to the video i went to an african refugee day up hear in brisbane a few weeks ago, had a wonderfull day watching stuff like this and trying a bit of authentic food.

I got no idea how many sudanesse refugees the goverment settled up hear, but you put them all together in a big park and i thought wow, thats a lot more than i expected.
