It is very hard to believe it still exist here in Australia. But verbal racial abuses still exist in Australia. I have witnessed racial abuse on public transport before in the Sydney metro area yet fortunately these type of abuses are rare. Have any of you witnessed racial abuses on public transport?

I not stating that Australians are racists, one factor that influenced me was I did notice racial abuse before on the public transport system before and it was similar to the video before and not just one person racially abuses someone but several other in the same carriage joined in. I only seen it once and I know it is rare. It just a question of if others have seen racial abuse on the public transport system.
I cant find the link to it. I can't recall there was discussion on it Derrick and kangaroo farmer. Besides I personally was racially abused on the public transport system by 5 guys because I am of a ethnic background and it went on for 30 minutes om a train. I just asking if there has been any people that noticed it around on the public transport system.
For me it happened in 1995. Very similar to what happened in the video. Acutally 3 others came up to me from a train and started taunting me names. This went on and a stranger that was not far from me joined in. the guy that joined in thought I was Lebanese, and maybe thougt I was a gang member of a Lebanese gang. I am mixed racial background. This went on for 30 minutes and the guys were very loud calling me names and 3 of the guys were drunk. I did fear for my life then and one of one of the very few times I actually feared for my life. It affected me mentally for years to come and even to this day I fear catching trains at night at certain stations. None of my friends today would know about it and not many family know about it.
I not suffered any racism before then or after that incident.
