the usa , australia and new zealand are still predominantly protestant ( at least nominally ) , new zealand being the lease catholic of the three
Yea I agree though Roman Catholicism is by far the largest Christian denomination by far in those countries which is what my point was and is quite Ironic for Britain. The Protestants faiths are just too numerous and diverse to name individually but usually I wouldn't lump them all together the same as I wouldn't lump Roman and Anglican Catholics together as the theological differences are huge.
well of course you include anglicanism when counting the protestant percentage , new zealand is less than 15% catholic , the usa about 30% catholic and australia the same , canada has marginally more catholics but is still culturally a protestant country
both australia and new zealand ( especially ) are culturally protestant nations
and in case someone wonders what i mean , even renowned atheist richard dawkins regards himself a culturally anglican
Anglicans wouldn't consider themselves Protestants which is why I try to be respectful not to lump them in that category just the same as othordox are not Protestants even though they are outside of the church.

Regarding British feel, you can still certainly find a bit of it in Australia. The northern coastal suburbs of Perth have the highest concentration of Brits outside the UK, while a lot of wealthy English retirees settle in the Mornington Peninsula area just out of metro Melbourne. I'd imagine there's a strong English influence in the New England region of NSW too
I would say NZ since the climate is more similar, plus their vernacular and jargon seems to be closer traditional British characteristics.
Australia seems a lot more North American than British as far as aesthetic and culture goes.

Anglicanism is basically the Church of England in Australia, and by far the largest Protestant group.
Of course it is a Protestant religion, but it is mainly high church and Anglo-Catholic in nature in Australia.
The Uniting Church would be the next most popular Protestant denomination, which was a merger between Presbyterian and Methodist.
Low church evangelicals and fundamentalists are low in number here, certainly compared to the US.
Orthodox would come under "other Christian denomination" in Australia, and would be quite high here with Greek and Serbian populations etc.
Catholicism is about 25-30% of the population, with also many Italian, Croatian, Filipino and even Lebanese catholics contributing to that.
Australia is thus largely conservative in it's Christianity here, but quite different to Britain.
NZ is a much more Protestant country, as are many of the Pacific Islands.
