I've eaten there once. If I go again, I'll try the wood-fired, thanks.
Here is a good blog to start with. I've lived in Texas and have been back since on business but would like to go back to drive around and explore and enjoy some BBQ.

I found this blog is pretty interesting:

Yes no one does BBQ as good as Texas I really miss my Texas BBQ since I moved to CA. CA has no clue what good BBQ is.

My hometown of Houston is a very international city and you can find excellent food from all over world there. I love Persian food and have yet to find a place in CA that does it better then the family owned place in Houston. If any of you are heading to Houston I can give you an outstanding list of the best tasting food you that your tongue will ever taste!

Are there any really good Persian restaurants in Sydney? What about good Turkish restaurants?

If there are, they'd be in Auburn which has a pretty large middle eastern community.

I'm from USA and my fiancé lives in au.. When I went to au.. I couldn't find any of the simple pressures they have here in the USA. I guess I'm not as adventurouse as I thought.. Couldn't find my one stop shopping, my simple iced tea. Out at any restaurant.. Tired to mAke my own adn went to get sweet n low no store had that.. I guess I'm so use to having so many choices that when ya don't have thoses choices anymore ya fill like your going backwards.. I was amazed how easy it was for my fiancé to take off the whole 7 weeks I was there to visit. I think we did everything we could do.. Traveled to each state, did the great ocean road twice. Many zoos and aquarium, shows in Melbourne etc.. But when I had to go shopping for groceries, nothing that I was use to there.. The only cereal I found that I recognised was front loops.. Thy didn't even taste the same as in the USA. I can drive myself nuts the kingly all the things that I can't buy online anymore because they don't ship to au or the shipping prices are CRAZY! I have to makea decision ifim even going to gotoau to live.. My fiance was gonna come here but got scared he wouldn't be able to finda join the time the visas allow. Help...any suggestions?

Australia is not the USA, im quite sure we all realise this. Iced tea is not big hear why not try hot tea? or a cold asian style milk/tea, thoes shops are everywhere in the big cities. Personally i would much rather shop at and talk to my local butcher, Baker, Newsagent and greengrocer etc, than shop at a big american style Box department store.

The bolded part has me a bit confused, what are you trying to ask?
