all nascar races are fixed, I have been to 3 and they were all frauds. Indy 2006, michigan 2007 and 2008. When you can call the debris yellow 20 seconds before it comes out(I did at michigan in 08) something is wrong and it is quite obvious what it is. When nascar decides to run a real race maybe it will be taken seriously, unfortunately that has not been the case since corporate greed took over. Greed is not good, it has ruined stock car racing.

What a joke............Waltrip wins??!!HOW
I have heard how this racing is fixed with Dale Ernhardt Jr. which is impossible but now watching the
racing this year Dale Jr. out in practice due to Michael Waltrip and now Waltrip wins the truck race??
Okay! now this year with what has gone on so far, you have confinced me, it is fixed!!
Hell, I used to take the family to the Preds hockey games and sit in the cheap seats for $12/ticket. Now I think they are $20 or more. That is a huge increase in only 3 years!!! NASCAR is now a rich man's spectator sport, imo. We are leaving in a few minutes to go to Paduach International (PIR) to watch dirt races. It will cost me $20 to get in for me, my wife and kid. And we will see a BETTER show than anything NASCAR has put out in years. Dirt races show the real racing in America for people who mainly do it for fun and it's not a business like NASCAR has become.
If it's not a business then why is there an admission price? I'm guessing there is a purse too?
Talk about mow-ron.

So you're saying all the wrecks and blown tires and bent up sheet metal were determined and rehearsed in advance so it would come down to the last 100 yards of the last lap?
And how was MW responsible for the 88's practice wreck? Not sure what you were watching but the wreck I saw was caused by the 48.
The winners are not determined by NASCAR only the big crashes are determined by NASCAR because like it or not a lot of racing fans love crashes especially the younger fans.
What are the video games that get the highest play? Crashes and all kinds of destruction whether it's blowing up buildings or crashing cars. NASCAR knows it needs the young viewers to keep it's fan base growing and what better way then to orchestrate crashes.
They said they need to slow the cars down to keep the drivers and fans from getting injured yet since the advent of restrictor plates all we get on the big tracks are more crashes and of course more younger fans.
So the Frances' get richer and the owners and their sponsors get to build more cars. It a great deal for them not so great for the sponsors.
So this year they bring out the Dale Earnhardt tributes and all the announcers get to tell us what a great job NASCAR is doing for safety.
Of the 36 trucks that started yesterdays race only 5 finished undamaged yet NASCAR will not have to replace any of those wrecked trucks caused by their bumper to bumper racing rules.
