Thanks for the photos of the limos, Blackandgold51. And of the other Cadillacs, when Cadillac was at its peak.
I am very fortunate to own a Cadillac Fleetwood Seventy-Five Limousine. It has unsurpassed exterior and interior size, ride, and prestige and elegance.
A 151.5" wheelbase, 252.2" overall length (21 feet) and 6,000 lbs. 9-passenger capability, power partition window, rear jump seats and radio and separate climate controls.
Not ALL people see cars like Aston Martins or Ferraris as "special", some people look at these cars just once or twice and pay no attention, especially when you're in a place like Beverly Hills where you see these cars everday and you quickly get bored of them.
HAte to break this to you, but that was actually agreeing with my point. When yo see them all teh time, if that's ALL you see, then they aren't special. You basically reiterated what I said.
Cars are machines. We call certain oned beautiful and certain ones special, but if they were all the same, what would our point of reference be? As you said, in a place where they ARE all the beautiful cars, they are so common, they are boring.
It'd be like if every woman looked the same. Where would our point of reference for a beautiful woman be?
Why did they change out the front bumper, inside headlights, and paint on the Kennedy limo? Are there any Kennedy limo clones or tributes? I would've considered it on mine, but it originally was a red/red/white car and red ones are uncommon. It will wind up being red/white two tone. Rather interesting considering the Kennedy limo was a 61 but had a 62 front clip.
Btw cool limo and hearse pics. I just looked at a 89 TC limo not too long ago, but passed on it.
