I live 20+ miles from town. I go in for groceries once a month due to gas prices. I also get my water from a spring up in the mountains. I drive up there, once a month. I have 2 vehicles and both get driven each month, just not very far. Also, I am retired.

Even for Dr appointments, I make sure I schedule them for when I'm going to be in town getting everything else done.

Because of fuel milage, I drive my 4 wheeler into town, but because of volume and weight, I use my truck to go get water.

So I said, 1-20 gallons a month.

Around 30 in my daily driver truck and maybe another 10 or so in the cruisers on weekends.

So maybe 40 a month.

I use about 5 gallons each day to commute back and forth in my F-150, multiply that out for about 100 gallons each month simply for commuting. On the weekends I get all my groceries, go out to eat with the fiancee, maybe meet friends, etc and probably use another 5 gallons each weekend.

Overall...in a month I'm likely close to around 140-150 gallons.

I have an almost 60 mile roundtrip commute for work. In 4 weeks I use about 75 gallons in my car, including non-work trips. In that same time period we will use between 20-40 gallons in my wifes van depending on whether we are just doing errands/visting grandparents or take a longer trip.

Wow...people do not use much around here! I don't work and I go through about 90 gallons a month, driving the kids to and from school mainly as well as going out alot on the weekends. I think my husband probably uses a similar amount.

Just me not too much, Maybe 100 gallons. But my whole family, the number must be huge. We have 6 drivers. 4 of us work and drive at elast 35 minutes each way every day, plus a lot of other dirving.

My Suburban has a 42 gallon tank that I do NOT want to have to fill up from empty, so I make sure it gets topped off every week. We use about 1/4 tank during a normal week with that, so about 10 gallons a week/40 gallons a month.

My Cadillac has a 17 gallon tank. I use about 1 full tank and 1/2 tank during a normal week, so that's about 25 gallons or so each week/100 gallons a month.

So, I'm looking at about 140 gallons a month. Right now that's right around $500/month. Luckily I get a good mileage reimbursement from my job.

I fill my little 12-gallon tank every two weeks or so; I probably use between 25 to 35 gallons per month, obviously more if I'm taking a long-distance trip to visit friends and family.

I'm burning through a tank in under a week so I'm doing 80-100 gallons a month. This doesn't count any road trips.

I use them all!!!!

Seriously, though...I drive about 800 miles a month for work (my commute is 54 miles round trip and I go to work about 15 days a month). Other than that, I don't much go anywhere. Given that the average amongst my cars is about 20 miles to the gallon (conservative estimate), that'd be about 40 gallons a month.
