Betcha still wish you had that '94 Supra turbo

You and I must have fairly similar taste in cars. I too had a 1980 Buick (albeit a Century but still fairly similar in the grand scheme of things), 1987 Daytona (a Shelby Z), a 1989 Conquest, a first-gen Protege (not to mention the 323 that preceded it); looked at a couple NX2000s but couldn't find one in decent shape (they're hard to find period these days), and almost bought a 540i (with a manual ) except the jerk sold it out from under me while I was gathering up the money to buy it even though he said he'd hold it for me. I've never owned a Toyota or Honda though.

72 VW Super Beetle (Bondo Bug)
77 Corolla (Thank goodness for water cooled engines in cold midwest winters!)
82 Mazda GLC Sport
86 Mazda 626
87 Acura Legend (My favorite)
90? POntiac transport (Magic Bus-van for work purposes, could carry all my friends to fun evenings out on the town)
92 Accord wagon
99 Old Intrigue (Nice car, favorite, most reliable domestic owned)
02 Honda Odyssey
Wife:
90's Ford Festiva 3 door
99 Subaru Forrester
02 Grand Caravan (needed room for kids that Subbie didn't have. Lot's of non-normal repairs, drove nice, craptastic build quality)
07 Odyssey

Id say in my 57 years, ive had approx. 16 including a cargo van and RV's . The biggest death-trap of a car i ever owned was a 1964 VW Beetle and a 1970 Toyota Corolla ... and the best for reliability is my current 2002 Hyundai SUV ... the best for performance is my current 1970 built big block Corvette with 4 speed .

I have been through about 5-6 cars I guess.
1. Ford Tempo
2. Buick Century '92
3. 1988 Cavalier z24
4. 1996 Beretta z26
5. 1996 Beretta base model
6. 2002 Saturn Vue (worst car I've ever owned, never again)
7. 2007 Ford Focus hatchback, which I'm still driving now. We also have a Grand National but I'm only allowed to drive it if my car happens to be in the shop...which is basically never.

I can't believe we have so many similiar cars.

I am still kicking myself for selling the Supra (sold it over 10 years ago) after I got married. I sold it for a lot less than what I would have gotten after the first Fast n Furious movie came out. I tried to replace it a few years ago and could never find an un-molested supra without paying collector like amount. I ended up with a 6sp 540i but it was not the same.
