Why am I so addicted to cars?

I mean, since I was the tiniest tot! I have pictures my parents took of me in a pedal car, with my Matchbox car collection, car posters...sitting on my dad's lap driving up the long driveway to our house...I always wanted the driving game, played the driving arcades, and loved the rides at theme parks where you got to drive something.

Even now, I can't stop looking at cars on the internet. And I like all kinds of cars! I find something to appreciate in a Ferrari or in a big truck or in the classic lines of an old restoration...when a friend gets a new car, whether it's a Lambo or a Nissan or a Porsche or a Bentley...I will get inside, inhale that great new car smell, listen to the engine...

I want to drive every car. Just so I know how it rides and handles and how the engine responds.

I have 3 cars and a motorcycle...I want more cars...I just love cars so much!

What is wrong with me!!!!??????

p.s. Is this how guys feel about women?

you are what is known as an "autoholic". many of us have this disease for which there is no cure. and as far as i know, no one is working on a cure for the disease, and i would fight any "cure" that came about. so sit back, enjoy your disease, and dont overspend.

Get hold of yourself now man, before its too late. I have 11 cars and trucks, all insured and plated. I might actually need three of them. "My name is Wilson and I'm an addict. . . . ."

My hubby and his dad are the same way. His dad has five, including one that he built from scratch. My hubby has a driver (truck) and the custom hot-rod that he has designed and is building from scratch. If he had the $$$ and the room and no wife (LOL!) he would have a lot more!

When my car magazines get here my wife knows that I am going to be ignoring her for at least an hour while I read them cover to cover.

That's like asking why some women have to have 20 pairs of shoes or 50 hand bags.

Heck if I had the cash and space, I'd have a vehicle for everything you could think of.....from a full time 4X4 rig when I wanted to sling some mud/snow, to a real speed demon when I wanted to hit the track, to a corner carver for the twisties, to a convertible for those warm summer days, to a dirt track racer....all the way down to an old rustbucket to run over trash cans when people leave them in the road.

Yes. It's great to have a car for all occasions. I would feel totally naked and stressed out if I only had one car.

I'm right there with you. I have 5 cars and 2 motorcycles. I want more but I'm out of garage space.

Time for a new house.
