It's your car. Is it worth it to YOU.

I will tell you that there is nothing you can do that will increase the value of that car so you will never get the money spent back.

Most likely you will NEVER get out what you put in when you start tricking out a car.

Mercury Montego.........haha, isn't that a flying roadbomb....lol, put as little money into that thing as possible.

I know it's not gonna be worth it money wise, I am just asking in general, but I guess it's more of a personal choice like others pointed out so I will need to decide for myself. By the way, people pimp out chrysler 300 all the time, and it's the same class car. I was thinking of getting one myself actually when I was buying the merc, but 300's reliability does not stack up. I'm all about big cars and cruising slow through the hood lol That's why I don't really care for acceleration or power add ons and what not.

If I do buy the seat covers, how would it work out with my heated leather seats function?

I'm not sure if the seat covers I suggested would reduce the heat from the heated seats. Mine have foam attached to the inside of the seat covers but it isn't very thick. Try testing with some thin foam and vinyl over the heated seats. I'd test it out but my seat heaters broke in my Five Hundred

For the most part only vintage collectable cars will return what you spend to make them a correct all original restoration. The custom cars unless the work is done by a well know quality shop never return the money.

You are talking about old cars, mine is 2007. I don't see how that's an issue if it was an old car though. Some people like custom old cars. (64 impala)
