I wash and vacuum out one vehicle every weekend on Saturday or Sunday and alternate weekends between washing my F-150 and my 'Vette. In Arizona, it's fairly easy to keep vehicles looking clean but after a while, that dust can really start getting thick in the interior portions.
How often do you guys clean your vehicles? Do you do it with a rag and bucket or go to the local car wash?
before I had kids I used to wash both cars once a week...washing every week never really took that long cause they wouldnt get too dirty over 7 days and would wax at least once a month and a half or so. With little ones its hard to fit it in as much though. I probably wash every other week. Wax once every 4-6 months. I enjoy it...along with gardening its my "me" time...
I wash whatever has been driven once a week. (I have cars in two different states so they don't always get driven routinely).
In the desert, where dust is a factor, I hand wash my car every 1-2 weeks, depending on whether it has been driven. If I'm not in the mood I'll settle for a full service wash. Up north, rain, tree sap, pollen, and bird bombs are the issue. The cars are vacuumed when washed, glass cleaned, interior surfaces wiped off, lacquered wood wiped down with a damp rag, and then dried. A more in depth cleaning including all the insides of the door frames and painted insides of the doors, kick plates, and engine compartment, is more of a once a month thing.
We wash and vacuum ours every weekend. I get agitated when I see a speck of dirt, especially when others car are dirty. I love washing cars lol.
Wow, that's good. I wish I could get the motivation to wash my truck every weekend. I usually take it to the car wash every 3 weeks even though it is brand new. I've had to spray it off more often lately because of the pollen in NC.
I try to spot vacuum it out once a month. I have the interior professional cleaned every 3 months. My truck usually stays clean on the inside though.
I pay the extra expense of having my trucks waxed once a year.

I couldn't find the right answer, twice a year. No use washing it from September-July since we have rain all through that period. I'll give them a good wash and wax in Late June-early-July, and get rid of the moss with a toothbrush, and again in Early September with a good coat of wax for the winter.
I have both detailed twice a year. No need to wax any more than that. I haven't had the car detailed for the spring yet but I can still go to a DIY wash and get 95% of the dirt off with the sprayer wand. I wash either if they're dirty AND I think it won't be raining for a week or so. I want them clean at all times but I'm not going to wash them then go drive in the rain, or let the truck sit and collect pollen.
Usually I'll take them to a touchless auto-wash, but vacuum them at home. There's too much junk coming off of the neighbors trees to make bucket washing a good idea. I use the air nozzle from my air compressor to blow off the dash and console, then vacuum, then run the vacuum brush over everything else inside.
