In the cars that we drive, we find features we never knew existed, some we can't live without, fine annoying, and others we wish never existed.
But what are some of the features that you car has that you've grown accustomed to, so much so that any future car "must" have those particular features?
For me, two of my cars (not SUV's) have trunks that pop up all the way. Makes it very convenient when you go grocery shopping and have hands full.
Satellite Navigation - not because I want to actually know where I'm going, but because I want traffic updates and how to potentially avoid it.
Xenon/LED headlamps - I don't think I could even go back to halogens. I know they're lighter and cost less to replace, but they offer such a huge advantage while straining your eyes less at night.
Leather seats - a must. I am not even crazy about Alcantara (spelling?).
Nothing other than air conditioning. I can do a portable CD player if needed. Besides I have a wide repertoire of song lyrics committed to memory.
Not Rambo you know only less stuff to break down in the long run. Sensors and electrical switches fail before the drivetrain will. Something not really important to the high rollers who change cars every few years but I hang on to them for a long time unless wrecked or stolen.
Push Button start and keyless entry
Ultra view Sunroof
OnStar and Nav
Heated and Cooled seats
Power lift gate
adjustable pedals
20GB hard Drive
Pandora/IHeart radio interface
Instant Weather and Traffic updates
Bluetooth
Rain Sensor Windsheild Wipers
Onstar App for Remote Start, Lock, Unlock and Cancel Start
LED headlights
While there are plenty of features I like, I could live without all of them. The biggest thing I would have a problem giving up at this point is knock you back in your seat raw power.
Auto Start/Stop. I initially hated it but after driving it for about 2 months, I kinda like it. I am still trying to get use to intersections where I stop and don't want the slight hesitation.
