btw, some tractor paint cars... I think I am going to do my engine bay on my car whenver I pull the engine. I mean you are not going to win car shows, but looks alot better then 5 different colors, faded out paint etc....
You get what you pay for.. LOL there is a reason some paint jobs cost $10,000 and up ...
yeah, and the paint still only lasts a handful of years in the southwest, and it has to be redone again at a cost of $12,000 due to inflation. thanks but no thanks, i will use rustoleum or fleet x or even dupli-color paint shop paint. if i want to splurge, i will get some low cost PPG or dupont paint. i will leave the high cost PPG and dupont paints to the pros and the nuts that want a high end show quality paint job, and let them cringe every time they take the car out for a drive.
The nose of my 2000 beater Camaro, the clearcoat was peeling and paint was faded bad. I masked off an area, tried to "blend" into seems. Then I very lightly sanded, prepped and used rattle can
Once again, not a show winner, but looks a million times better IMO... most people that saw the difference complement it.

People forget what a good buff job, claybar and wax can do to make a car look new again. And if 90% of the car looks good it hides some of the imperfections.
