we have an 11 v6 stang convertible, chosen over a comparible v6 camaro convert for it's better price and style (i'm a camaro guy but just dont care for the back end of the new one). We've been quite happy with it. MPG's anywhere from 26-30 depending on amount of playing i give it, we've been able to fit adults in the back seat in relative comfort (all things considered), and frankly i think our black on black w/ the pony pkg is a pretty nice looking ride.

As noted in other posts, for fair comparisons you need to start at an '11 stang for the upgraded v6

It's amazing the new V6 Mustang puts out what the old 4.6 V8 was doing a few years ago. If it were me I'd go the Mustang route, they seem to have it dialed down. Now if they'd only work on getting some more back seat room.

That was a joke for a bit. In the mid 90s the mustang v8 made about 215 hp ang the v6 camaro/firebird made 200. Then in 2010 the Mustang GT v8 made 300 hp and the 2010 camaro made about the same ... they stepped up the game in recent years. And well.... 03-09 the mustang was undeniably faster then the Camaro.

Yes torque and power curves make a difference but its the principle of it.
