I've been looking for a good product to clean the interior windows of my car (mainly front and back windshield pose the problem). Since they are angled inconveniently I usually have to deal with a lot of streaks. I purchased one of those "as seen on tv" microfiber wands/handles and found it to be just crap.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way of cleaning front/back interior windshields? Microfiber and cleaning solution suggestions...

Thanks in advance.

Invisible Glass cleaner and low grade newspaper. All those reach rod products suck. I've tried several and they all fail.

Windex and a Tshirt get the glass streak free.
Been doing it for years.
Never use newspaper or paper towels.
Not only will they streak, but could scratch the window surface.
One other thing, never try to clean windows in the sun, or when the windows are hot because of sitting in the sun.
Bob.

Castle Products, A Finger Lakes Company, as the can says, makes a great glass cleaner. This glass cleaner is by far the best I have ever used.

I'll look into Invisible Glass, thanks! What was annoying me most was that when I would clean the windows, it wasn't until nighttime that I could see streaks or where everything was wiped down. Invisible Glass will be a solution to this, yes? What retailers have Invisible Glass?

Also, newspaper and paper towels always leave tiny fibers that get annoying also. Is there a microfiber rag that is best to use?

Invisible glass is good, but I have very good luck with some of the white vinegar-based homebrews as well.

I'm glad I read this post because like the OP, I need to find a good glass cleaner. I clean the glass and later on I see all the streaks. I'm gonna give this Invisible Glass product a try.

I use both and they're the best I've tried. When I don't have the tool handy or just want to do a quick clean, newspaper is the way to go. I've never heard any reputable source prove that newsprint scratches glass, nor is there any component of it that suggests it would.

Sometimes it takes a couple cleanings for the glass to be really clean. Too much cleaning fluid can leave a smear, but IG, in small quantities, never has for me.
