I guess this fits into the "car forum" as no one on any other forum would know what we were talking about.
I was surprised to learn that Christie Lee is the new co host on Garage Squad. While I like Christie, and even met her at a car show one time, I hope this change is because Heather wanted to do other things and left on her own, rather that being aced out by some corporate decision.
Heather is a cool chick, very pleasant, funny, and down to earth. I think her "Tom boy" persona fit in well with the grease monkeys on the show. She was right in there with them, and did anything needed to get the car done.
I'm sure Christie will do a great job, she is a nice lady and knows cars, but I just hope Heather didn't get the boot, and this was her own decision.
Apparently Heather was let go but has already bounced back to doing another show.......Drive Yourself Local .....Heather did a good job on Squad but I think Christie Lee has just a bit more star power.......so life goes on........

While Heather knows about cars and is handy, Christy is a real mechanic, and can do a lot more including welding. It makes a lot of sense, with the added benefit of better appeal to the male viewers.
