Well, I have a 1988 S-Class LWB sedan, but its a 6-cylinder gas model... perhaps I could transfer a diesel into it.
oh and if it was a classic car and gas was no object, how about a 1960 Cadillac?

Personally, I plan on living at least another 45-50 years. A lot of people claim we're gonna "run out of oil" in that time, which I for one don't believe at all....but I won't entirely rule out some sort of Mad Max scenario where fossil fuels are very hard to come by, and the world has regressed into warring tribes living in caves.
So with that in mind, I need something that is diesel (so it can be run on vegetable oil if need be), reliable, somewhat large, offers decent performance to outrun cannibal gangs and comfortable, since I might be living in it. If we're only talking true "cars" here (no trucks) there is only one option...
1990-1991 Mercedes-Benz 350SDL
Preferably a gray market model with a manual transmission and a factory replacement engine.
How about a Nissan Maxima? Like a 91, mine has 207K miles purs like a kitten doesn't burn anything or leak anything. Rides ungodly smooth and it's a 5-speed.
Since repairs would be paid for, the other car that I would consider would be the 2007 Mercedes S550 Black. I love the look of this car. Just a beautiful vehicle and I love luxury cars above all others.
hm... only car. It'll have to have enough power for the rest of my life...but also be practical. My pick would be the Audi RS6 Avant. A grocery getter with 580HP.....
While its not available in the U.S. I'm guessing that's not a requirement for this "game".
wow pretty amazing stuff for a car made in 1958 I would just hate to find motors for all those power options though
Hey, all repairs are covered.....
Every once in a while you see one at a car show. If you do see one take a close look, they were pretty amazing for 1958.
