If you would want to purchase a used sportscar, which one would you prefer.
Up to now I always wanted a Corvette C5. But since I am quite impressed of my 1993 Honda Legend (Acura in US) -- in terms of build- and ride quality for such an old car -- I am now leaning somehow towards an 1990-1997 Honda NSX.
Knowing that both cars have a different character I am sure both are great fun to drive and will not eat me alive, moneywise ... which is what I am looking for.
Maximum price is difficult to answer as vehicle prices are very different on this side of the pond. Just imagine that the budget would allow the purchase of a non-European 10-15yr old sportscar.
Any suggestions?
Maybe you should drive both before you decide to buy?? I picked the NSX, both as a Honda fan and also having a friend that had one in FL for several years. Then he went on to a Lotus Elise. Both were bought used.
What country in Europe do you live in? What sort of driving do you plan to do in your sportscar? If I live in Europe, I would be driving around in a smaller car. If I were on a budget, it would be a Civic Si with a Quaiffe LSD tranny or if I had the money, an Renault Clio V6 like this one, although I prefer the previous gen's body style:
I just got an 08 C6 convertible. It is AWESOME!! Of course I am 42 and this is the first nice car I have ever had, So I don't have much else to compare it to.

Also, Honda made the NSX, not Nissan.
Honda, Nissan what's the difference............
Kinda like comparing a Harley and a Yamaha, the only ones that like the Yamaha are little boys.........

And by your logic, all American cars are alike also.
I love my Hondas and don't plan on owning a Nissan at any point. But I'd get a Nissan over any American marque vehicle.

Or the ones that want a functioning and fun bike instead a falling-apart, leaking, poorly-made tiny penis compensation device.

As mentioned I want to use it for high-speed traveling on German Autobahn. A small car will definitely not do
Actually I have been driving the mentioned Clio V6. But that is not my kind of car. For daily use I prefer my Honda Legend (Acura Legend for you), a very well built car, fully specced with auto and a nice cream leather interior.
However on weekends I tend to drive medium distances (300-600 kms) on the Autobahn, partially without speed limits. So I am looking for something that delivers a little more driving pleasure during my journeys
Take the Vette, any Vette, because at the end of the day a Nissan is till just a Nissan.....
Neither the Vette nor the NSX will be a political correct choice, as I live in Porsche-Country. Man, I feel like a rebel...
