Heck, I'd like to see the Volvo 240 re-introduced. A well balanced rear wheel drive car that delivers a comfortable ride and reasonable economy. As long as they relocate the heater fan motor, I'm in.
Mazdaspeed6. Looking to get one in a couple years and I'm annoyed that I only have 2 model years to choose from. Each year I wait makes it that much harder to find a low-mileage example. Plus I'd hate to be looking for parts 8 years down the line and find them scarce, but there's probably not that many parts exclusive to the MS6 anyway.
I'd love to see any Italian and French cars back in the USA....specifically Peugeot and Alfa-Romeo. I'm actually not wild about the current styling trends from either automaker, but I wouldn't mind getting behind the wheel of something in the vein of....
Peugeot 607 (still in production)
Peugeot 406 Coupe
Alfa-Romeo GTV6
Alfa-Romeo 1750 GT Veloce
Alfa-Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA
Fiat 124 Coupe
Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato

Peugeot 504 Coupe
....and tons of others. I'll try to do another post with Japanese, German, Brittish, etc.
^^ Along the same lines, I'd like to see a modern take on the 80s-era Maserati Biturbo, preferably a version that runs this time.
LOL hell yeah, good call dude. IMO, the Biturbo was the best idea that came out of the De Tomaso era for Maserati.....but like everything else they put out during the 80s an absolute nervous breakdown (or bankruptcy) waiting to happen once you had to get under the hood - which you did very frequently.
I prefer the "notchback" proportions on these to all the other boxy Maseratis....
Maserati Biturbo S(II)
Early models actually had an absurd blowthrough carbuerated twin turbo setup
Styling got much sleeker and smoother as they went along.... Maserati Biturbo 222SE
They looked pretty good in sedan form.....
Maserati Biturbo 4.24v (II)
.....and drop tops as well
Maserati Biturbo Spyder III
To top it all off, one of the slickest interior designs of the 80s
Maserati Biturbo 430
I'd definitely love to see a similar, modern mid-size entry from Maserati. I think they did an outstanding job with the new Quattroporte - a name that seemed really dead not that long ago.
I can't figure out why Honda stopped making the hatchback Civic
