Sadly, you're probably right. And this is why I don't want to be anywhere near a city whose major sports team has just won their championship event.
Whether one is rioting because their favorite team won or because their favorite criminal just got killed, there is no excuse for hurting innocent people or destroying their property. Anyone who engages in such hooliganish behavior should be stopped, by whatever means necessary.

Heard MSNBC today say that almost all homicides and cop killing related incidents in Baltimore have been of African American victims. Of-course we fail to understand that 2/3 of the city is African American.

As a follow up to that.. what percentage of African Americans in the BPD and how many of the killings were done by white vs black officers? Women vs Men? Rookie vs Veteran? Baltimore native vs transplant? Of course... all of these stats are useful to statisticians, sociologist, and criminal justice wonks looking to establish patterns or trends in an attempt to ID the issue...but meaningless to the folks on the street.....I am afraid we are going to be in for a long hot summer when it comes to these types of incidents and not just in Baltimore
