Latest update on NPR this morning says the storm will stay out in the Atlantic. We had to take a poor cat inside who was whining at our door. I didn't have the hear to leave him out there with the storm coming.

Man what are you taking about! Wegman's has the best prices, especially if you get their store brand stuff. I get way more there for my money than I get at the Giant or Shoppers near my house.

The only thing that beats it is going over to Liberty Heights to get the bag o' wings for ten bucks type deal you get when you shop up in the cut. LOL

I hope your dog didn't give him a hard time.

LOL! You know I was just jokin' with you...! Wegman's the do have some good prices, but it's still expensive for some and you know this. I don't know about that Shoppers comment?! I like Shoppers and they usually have some good deals.

But, since I don't live in that boughetto Randallstown anymore, I don't know how Shoppers is now.

You're still buying the Hip Hop Fried Chicken on Liberty Rd?!!

The dog went nuts, but we were able to keep the cat until we could find a foster for him by keeping the dog and the cat separated. We didn't have the supplies to keep him long term anyway.

But, it really does bother me how neglectful people are of their animals in the city. This is the second stray we've taken in in the past few months alone.

"Oh he's just an indoor/outdoor cat." Well, then get him fixed and put tags on him. And don't leave him outside when it's freezing and pouring down rain.

[/endrant]

Glad the storm is going to miss us!

There is a hip hop chicken around the corner from my house now on Reiserstown Rd, so I don't even have to go far to eat greasy fish that will kill me one day LOL

The Shoppers near me is not that cheap. It's on Smith avenue. It sucks.

Glad the storm was a non-event for town, sad to hear about the loss of El Faro, a container ship that often docked near the John W Brown on Clinton St, 33 souls aboard, prayers sent.

I'll bet that was one scared cat in your house being with strange people and not knowing if that dog was going to come after him.

Glad to hear you found him a home. Stray cats from the city make the best pets, probably because they have gone through so much on the streets and are thankful to have a good owner and a warm place to live. Mine was a homeless, starving stray when I adopted her eleven years ago, and she is still frightened of loud noises such as fireworks.

Yeah, he was probably scared, but he was also really sweet and totally fine being handled by us, so he's clearly used to people. The dog wasn't really going after him so much as she just wanted to play with him like he was another dog.

Yeah, our dog is a rescue also. Best pets! They are so thankful for their people.
