Hello Mainers!!! I have been browsing land in Maine and I came across this small town. I tried doing some research about crime in this town but only came up with some guy setting fire to a fire authorities car. Other than that I’m just curious if this is a safe town for families. Any info from the locals would be greatly appreciated. Thanks John

Thanks Submariner !!! For now it’s just a getaway from the daily grind of city living. My wife would like to one day homestead once all the kids are done with college. We just could not find much info on the town. We visited Prentiss, Lincoln, Lakeville, Springfield but we were more focused on looking at lots. I did stop at a gas station somewhere near Prentiss and the lady working there was very nice. It was near Lee academy I believe. Thanks again Submariner
