That really is a big difference! I knew there was no way there could be that many people skipping out on their electric bill.. Bangor Hydro could not operate if this was the case.

I didn't say you weren't being compassionate at all. You said it could happen to anyone, and I said it wouldn't happen to me....and I explained how I've handled things in the past. I know others who behave similarly.....it's not that unusual to be responsible in that way. Cancer *could* happen to me, a car accident *could* happen to me, but to a certain extent those things are not within my control. The payment of my electric bill or the making of a payment arrangement is within my control. That's how and why I know it couldn't happen to me, and others like me.
