Once again, Sabathia gives up runs and the Yankees have to save him again. So why are they going to keep using this man as their number 1 pitcher???

If this happens against the Phillies the Yankess probably lose. They need to do something about Sabathia.

Stunned to wake up and see the Yankees came back.

The Rangers terrible bullpen meltdown along with their inability to put Tampa away early, forcing them to use Lee in game 5, is the only reason Captain cheeseburger didn't lose last night..

Give credit where credit is due. If you look at Sabathias record, he should have had at least 22 wins but he was taken out after a long rain delay, one batter shy so he got a no decision. Also the guy has been the workhorse all year, so a bad game here and there is expected especially after all the innings he usually logs. Timing bad-yes. Does it matter now-no. We just took away the home field advantage by winning an away game. The ball is now in our court.

I think you answered your own question. You don't 'sit' (or bump in the rotation) the potential Cy Young winner.

If they continue to stick with him it will hurt him in the long run

The numbers just don't support that. They would be stupid to do what you're suggesting.

They won't be able to constantly come back from a 5 run lead.

Come back from a lead? You seem new to baseball.

I meant 0-5 deficit. They can't keep digging themseles out of a hole to cover up for that sorry excuse of a pitcher
