They dropped 2 of 3 to the A's. They need to turn it on. There isn't much season left.

The M's are all pitching and no hitting, much like the A's, but apparently a more extreme example. If they don't try to acquire more bats in the offseason, they'll continue on this track for the foreseeable future.

What a game tonight. Solid pitching from Felix. The most clutch 3-run HR from LoMo in the top of the 9th, although there was a near-meltdown from Rodney in the bottom of the 9th, they got through. He's now the all-time M's single season save leader.

They are now 1 GB the last wild card spot.

I think they can get in. The A's are on a freefall. I'm crossing my fingers.

These SOBs have just enough of a pulse left to, at least, be tied with the As at the end of the day on Sunday, to force a one gamer on Monday. It has been a crappy bunch of baseball for the last couple of weeks, but it seems that none of these teams seem willing to lock it up. They're going to have to do what they have been marginal at this season, and that's win at home, and with pitching that has fallen off the rails - but it's there anyway. SO LET'S GO Ms and GET THIS DONE!

We must get it done. It looks like Oakland could lose this game. Seattle better pick it up tonight. They are behind, but by one run. They can make that up and much more. Oakland is behind by 3 runs. Let's hope for a Mariner win and an Oakland loss tonight. At least there will be one more chance left, tomorrow.

Did Grilli even throw 1 strike to A Jax that at bat?? Looked like both of those called strikes were inside. The Miller strikeout probably could've been called a ball as well but at least that was closer than the 2 to A Jax were. Tough luck.
