My prediction that Astros would win in 5 or 6 games is out the window after that melt down in the 7th inning last night's game two. I think the long season and long playoffs have exhausted the Astros while the Nats had about 5 days of rest.
Anything can happen and the Astros can still win the WS in 6 or 7 games but it seems the Nats are hungry for the win and if they do I hope they do it in DC in front of their fans.
Pitching matchups for game 3 look excellent:
HOU: Zack Greinke (18-5, 2.93 ERA)
WAS: AnÃbal Sánchez (11-8, 3.85 ERA)
It doesn't bother me that hitters aren't producing at their regular season averages. One reason many WS see low batting averages is because the best pitchers in the league are throwing in the WS and are a primary reason their teams ARE in the WS to start with. This WS has been a showcase for great pitchers.

Suzuki gunned down Altuve at third last night and it was a beating for the Astros after the 7th inning last night. I think the Nats have caught the Texas boys off guard. I'd like to see the Nats win their first WS.
I like Gerritt Cole (but think he has gotten tired in the playoffs), like Altuve and Bregman (but he looked like an azz last night when he hit the HR and pranced around the bases). The Nats just want to win........
I predicted Astros in 5 or 6 games based on all the regular season stats being in their favor, Oh well.

Congratulations. The Montreal/Washington franchise has exactly 1 less championship than the Florida Marlins.
