In a must win game, the Cardinals need bats hitting balls to bat in runs and a reliable bullpen. They did not have that. They chose not to show up. They lost again.

Tommy Pham, Dexter Fowler, Jedd Gyorko, Kolten Wong, Paul DeJong, and Stephen Piscotty were useless at bat. Gyorko and Piscotty are overdue for bench warming duties.

I do not know why Seung-hwan Oh made an appearance. Oh loses games for the Cardinals.

The Cardinals fell behind in the National League Central Division and National League wild card races. How stupid!

Default 2017 Season: Game 156 (25 September 2017 - 18:15) - Chicago Cubs at Saint Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals need to win out the season and hope the Milwaukee Brewers and the Colorado Rockies lose out the season.

Lance Lynn, on two days rest, needs to redeem himself for his appalling performance against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Allowing eight runs in the first inning of a game is bad in professional baseball.

The Cardinals' bats took Sunday off. They need to show up today.

Default 2017 Season: Game 156 (25 September 2017 - 18:15) - Chicago Cubs at Saint Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals are quickly playing their way into missing postseason play for the second consecutive season. The losers who cannot bat in runs by hitting balls with bats continue to play. Quality pitching has disappeared from the rotation and the bullpen. The team does not play with fire and discipline and are managed by a loser.

Default 2017 Season: Game 157 (26 September 2017 - 19:15) - Chicago Cubs at Saint Louis Cardinals

The Cardinals defeated the Cubs. Sadly, they did not gain ground in the National League wild card race. The Colorado Rockies and the Milwaukee Brewers won their games.

Tyler Lyons and John Brebbia provided legitimate reasons why they are ineffective in the bullpen. Trying to lose games late in games will send them back to the minor leagues.
