What I find the most bizarre is how a city can lose 2 NFL teams within the same year(1994). I don't think anything like that has ever happen to any other city. Could you imagine New York City losing its 2 NFL teams in the same year. lol.
New York lost the Dodgers and Giants in the same year.
yeah L.A. is completely spoiled enough by the Lakers already, why does there need to be a 3rd team? gosh I really hate and despise the Business of Professional Sports
Good thing the new arena plans are back in the work. I for one don't believe LA should have another team. Not even a big fan of having two teams in the same market and the fact California makes up 4 of the 5 Pacific Division teams.
Yeah but New York didn't lose 2 teams in the same sports league, which is much worse.
yeah, when the Dodgers and Giants left New York, New York still had an MLB team with the Yankees, meanwhile when the Rams and Raiders left L.A., there was no remaining and still no NFL team in the L.A. Metropolitan area, so L.A.'s situation was worse
