New York lost the Dodgers and Giants in the same year.

Good thing the new arena plans are back in the work. I for one don't believe LA should have another team. Not even a big fan of having two teams in the same market and the fact California makes up 4 of the 5 Pacific Division teams.

Yeah but New York didn't lose 2 teams in the same sports league, which is much worse.

Thinking Anaheim is the same as LA is your first mistake.

As it was with the owner of the Angels.

In other news, Frank McCourt pilfered $200M from the Dodgers, MLB alleges.

yeah, when the Dodgers and Giants left New York, New York still had an MLB team with the Yankees, meanwhile when the Rams and Raiders left L.A., there was no remaining and still no NFL team in the L.A. Metropolitan area, so L.A.'s situation was worse

...The Clippers should just move to Seattle, then realign the divisions in the Western Conference:

Pacific Division
Golden State Warriors
Los Angeles Clippers of Seattle
Los Angeles Lakers
Portland Trailblazers
Sacramento Kings

Southwest Division
Dallas Mavericks
Houston Rockets
New Orleans Hornets
Phoenix Suns
San Antonio Spurs

Central Division
Denver Nuggets
Memphis Grizzlies
Minnesota Timberwolves
Oklahoma City Thunder
Utah Jazz
