^He isn't a better in-game dunker than Kobe either. Kobe's 1997 contest dunks weren't anything special, but he's had some great in-game dunks in his younger years. And let's not even get into Vince Carter, who was on a whole other level as a dunk artist.
LeBron is physically more imposing than Jordan. He is nearly 3 inches taller and probably 30 to 40 pounds heavier than Jordan was during his days with the Bulls. LeBron can guard four positions. He has the size and strength to guard power forwards on the block. Yet he still has the speed to chase point guards on the perimeter.
The quote the OP references was not about accomplishments. Running down Jordan's resume is pointless in that LeBron is still playing. James has another decade of good years left (assuming no major injuries). Make the resume comparison at that point. Saying Jordan was smarter is a non-starter. LeBron is still developing as a player. Of course a 33 year old Jordan (1996) would be smarter than a 26 year old James. He had more experience under his belt.
With all that said, physically LeBron is more impressive.

The stats I posted for Jordan's finals averages were from when he was 27.
No one wants to touch Jordan outjumping Lebron either apparantly.
People want to start talking about "more athletic" and the minute you pull out 40-speeds and vert leap....<poof> they disappear.

Lebron has three dunks: the Statue of Liberty, the reverse dunk, and the one handed-power dunk on drives to the basket. That's about it.

I still think MJ was the best in-game dunker.
Pretty much. Most of the kiddos roaming around the forum lately have no idea that Jordan has about a 9" advantage on Kobe in terms of vertical reach and leap.
