Did anybody else watch Zach Randolph's 38 point/22 rebound/3 blocks/8-8 free throws show he put on last night?

He's almost reached a point where he could be considered Charles Barkley meets Karl Malone.

If there is a better true power forward in this era of basketball - who is it???

ummm wow!
malone/barkley combined? WOW.

i still in his advanced age take duncan, and kevin love is better right now and he isnt even in his prime. granted love ha played only 7 games but he has better numbers then randolph in every single category except shooting percentages. time duncan has him bested in every category except rebounding where randolph has 13 to tims 10. thats a good stat but tim scores more, at a better %, and plays 5 minutes less per game.

oh and the griz have had a weaker schedule so far this season then have the spurs.

i say lets hold our horses on the zbo=malone/barkley combo and is better then all other PFs of this era.

Duncan is a post player, not really a forward.

Blake Griffin is having a 17/9 kind of year - and is a power forward, not a starting center.
Young Kenneth Faried is a true power forward with potential - He's having a 13/11 dbl/dbl kind of year so far.
Love's grade is incomplete due to a low number of games - but was impressive in international ball this summer.

Barring injury, Z-Bo's 18/13 could end up around 20/15 - doing it without the "born" athletic abilities of a Griffin or Faried.

Would that make him more like the "Wes Unseld" of this generation?

That makes him a better-shooting Derrick Coleman.

1st you do realize wes unseld played center right?

tim duncan plays both center and power forward (um zbo has been known to do the same). or how about kevin mchail, he played a low post game yet his was never mistaken for being a center.

kevin love has half a smany games, but youre talking "this era" to which case you would have to look at more then the 1st 16-17 games of the season. i would expect fairly similar numbers to last year for love, maybe not as much scoring but still he is going to be better then 20 ppg im sure.

faried is in his 2nd season so cant even guess on him.
griffen has never been accused of anything more then potential and athleticism.

notice is didnt mention either of them?

i would take in no particular order for this entire season over randolph
duncan
love
bosh
dirk
and KG.

again no order but all guys i would rather have instead of randolph for this entire season, with bosh being maybe a borderline no go. also pending an actual dirk return date.

oh and NO WAY does zack randolph average 20/15 in a season.
