It is the unfortunate result of multiple pigs going into a trap at once and one is only half way in when another triggers the trap.

There was a piglet that got clocked by the heavy steel door sliding shut, so there was literally 12.5 pigs in the trap.

That's a lot of pigs in one trap and a really heavy door! Did you make the trap? It's gotta be pretty big? We used a pig trap to shift a sheep and it couldn't have fit more than one or two pigs.
