Hopefully they will get going on widening the 31 over pass on 65. That would do a big favor to the Caleratites.

That would be a HUGE help. Another thing that would help is if just everyone would be a bit more patient there on the bridge. There are signs that clearly state, NO PASSING but people continue to pass on the right while vehicles wait to turn left. Both directions. I had an 18 wheeler almost take my mirror off one day because he just couldn't wait any longer apparently. It would be like fishing in a barrel if the Calera PD wanted to write a large amount of citations. Happens every single time I drive through there. That is really the only bottleneck I ever encounter. Sure, it's sometimes hard to pull out on to Hwy 31 from 2nd avenue or from Hwy 16 but it usually isn't too bad.
