I have read almost all of his books..multiple times over the years, and I would have to say "Phantoms" was my fave. Also enjoyable were "Lightning", "Midnight" and "Dark rivers of the heart"

Anyone else have a fave?

I really loved "One Door Away from Heaven". A friend bought it for me, and I was a bit nervous at first, because I've only read one other Koontz book - "Whispers", which so terrified me that I could never read any of his other work! Has he written any other books that come close to "One Door Away..."?

Most of his books are great ones. One of the scariest i've read is "The Taking." Keeping it to read again later on.
I've read so many of his books. The only one I didn't like was "Twilight eyes." I think that was an early novel, i just could not get into it. Was glad when it was over.

If you're a dog lover and you've ever wondered what dogs would have to say if they could communicate with people, you've got to read "Watchers." I fell in love with the Golden Retriever in that story.

"Twilight Eyes" is another one of my favorites. I found a large, coffee table book-sized hardcover edition on ebay with terrific illustrations.

Years ago when my kids were little I came across a childrens' book by Koontz called "Oddkins." Wonderful illustrations and a really good story.

The Watchers (to this day, a fav & memorable read). Even though I tend to be a 'cat person'....I've always loved retrievers!

He has written so many wonderful books. Watchers, Lightning, Dark Rivers of the Heart. The two Christopher Snow books, Seize the Night and Fear Nothing, are also amazing.

The hands down, my read over and over favorite, is From the Corner of His Eye. It has a depth and richness that is so hard to find. I highly recommend it!

I finally had to throw away my copy of "Darkfall" since I was trying to re-read it and the spine of the book broke into 2 from having had the book all these years (Since 1990)
