Does anyone know why there is no super Walmart in/around Boston?

The Mayor doesn't want one and he has succeeded in keeping one out (so far).

There are a couple in Raynham and Plymouth and I think a couple in central Mass.

Somerville is supposedly getting a Walmart grocery.

I'm glad boston doesnt have one. It would change the way i saw the city. in a bad way. Walmart=evil destruction of the smaller businesses around it.

The progressives think Walmart is evil.....so you will have to shop at every oher chain-store that sells the same goods until the progressives find another target to go after.

I noticed that there was a sign saying the Target at South Bay has groceries now. Don't know if that helps you.

Walmart would at least turn those Wall St protesters into productive taxpaying citizens instead of costing all Bostonians millions of dollars.

Not a huge Wal-Mart fan, but the hypocracy just kills me (Wal-Mart is the Alll Evil but Target is trendy and hip). LOL
