Default Good areas near hopkinton?

My husband has been offered a job in Hopkinton, and we are considering moving there from northern CA. We are looking for a family-friendly area with good schools, and decent-sized houses in the 450-500K range. Our kids are both young right now, but they will start elementary school in a couple of years, so being in a good school district is very important. Also, we want an area that has good diversity (we are South Asian). Any advice on what areas would meet these criteria would be very helpful. Thanks!

My top picks would be Holliston or Southborough. You could also choose Hopkinton itself, which is also a nice town with good schools but is growing quickly.
