Yes, but they are compressed files. The audio quality between a compressed file and a CD is like night and day. You aren't going to hear it on an iPod with earbuds, but with a good stereo you can definitely tell the difference.

The term "loophole" is pejorative and presumptuous. It presumes the law wants something else and people are sneakily avoiding it.

One can just as honestly demand to close the "no underwear check" loophole to stop young, attractive females from being able to avoid having their underwear checked by male college students.

Actually, no. Traditional Americans are leaving California, being replaced by Hispanic immigrants.

Capitol Weekly: Numbers of whites, blacks in decline in California

People like sunshine and the beach, and that's California's only selling point. Most people only tolerate diversity and are comfortable to be around their own.

Fish taco? Sounds gross. Who puts fish on a taco? Who would move to anywhere that puts fish on a taco? Can you still get real tacos in California?

It's early, but this is likely going to be the stupidest thing I'll have read all day.

I've yet to see a study that looks into whether the tax issues actually do change peoples behavior. Seems like it would a easy study to conduct by looking at folks in large states like California and Texas. Do they avoid shopping at in-state online retailers?
I can't speak for others. But I buy computer parts/components from Newegg when I could also buy from Directron at about the same price. Directron is a find online retailer but they area located in Houston - so I would have to pay 8% sales tax plus shipping. I will almost always buy from Newegg instead because I like saving money.

I don't put fish on tacos. I put it IN them. Do you even know what a taco is? What's a real taco? Is that a taco made with pigs, cows, goats (or their skin or guts)? Yes, we have those too.

Putting fish on a taco is about as nutty as someone putting pineapple on pizza.

Everyone knows it just don't go.

If it were only for Sunshine and the Beach... there are other places to go... I like the mountains and the desert too

... and don't forget the growing Asian population...
