Your socialist system has failed everywhere it has been tried. And it is failing in California. Leave us alone. Be a do-gooder with your own money for a change. Libs are notoriously stingy with charitable giving, but so quick to take our money for their causes.

A far left radical and an almost-conservative are never going to agree. With luck enough Californians will see the failure of your system and we will eventually join the rest of the country on a path to prosperity and taking back our freedom.

Humor? I am your typical rancher/farmer/equipment operator, I drive 4x4's and carry guns, and pack mules into the hills to hunt. Hardly the traits of a far left radical, closer to that of an almost conservative, but conservative seems to be a euphemism for "driven by prejudices rather than data"

Note the Socialist nations that do better than the US. Note where the US ranks, would you like more proof socialism works and works well? We could go all night.

^^^Hardly socialist, more like twinges of socialism. Those are all small countries to. Everything you say is backed up by skewed "data".

Not that the low information people are much concerned about data.

I know you really believe you are smarter than most, but the "data" would suggest otherwise. Ive noticed your data is very skewed to make your points.

$3300 on a 2000 sq ft starter house is very significant and can price a large percentage of people out of the market. Building cost of $300/ft is extremely high, even in California unless you are talking about high end construction. I know youre SLO county example included land. California is also the land where you can have $50k in permit and "impact" fees on top of construction. People in California would be amazed at what you can build a house for, minus all the permit/impact fees and now fire sprinklers. Its just another straw on the back.

You try to sell socialism by telling Americans that people in socialist countries live longer. Not true. You are using statistics to lie. If you adjust American life expectancy for lifestyle (we have far more cars and car accidents for example) and compare the same races in both Europe and the US (adjust for our large minority population) Americans live the same length or longer than your socialist buddies.

And our health care system up to now is far superior to Europe's. But Obama is doing his best to drag us down to their level.

Here is a link that refutes some of your slanted "statistics":

The NFPA numbers say that there are 3000 home fire deaths annually, assuming that sprinklers could be 100% effective and in all houses which won't happen for at leat 100 years then we would save 3000 lives. Drunk drivers kill 42,600 annually, if we could reduce that by 10% we would be accomplishing over 25% percent more than the sprinklers will do in a hundred years assuming they are perfect. We cannot make a perfect environment, we can price ourselves out of a house. We can also make an easy job for some fire department personell who inspect sprinklers and retire at 50 for us to pay for. I know we do not want lawmakers to go against the money from the liquor lobbies, how foolish of me. It just doesn't make sense to try to work with the big numbers first. what was I thinking?
