LOL, the engineers/nerds are creating any silly startup they can (tw33t to m33t . Ham vs. Spam iphone video games) .. Capturing that VC money and putting as much of it as they can in a bank account. A fool is born everyday, and the nerds are more than happy to take money from desperate people w/ a lot of it. I can't imagine this continues on for longer though.. and engineers tend to be pretty frugal so I am sure this isn't spilling out into mainstreet. They sure are making apartment owners in SF rich though (from one hand to another well off hand).. ..(not me .. lol, i enjoy paying around $8xx.xx in rent w/ a roomie so as to save more money in southbay :-D) .

VC money is chasing the hype right now ... Namely why even Green Tech is getting a jab in the eye .. it's all about fart apps and tweet decks for now.

At some point once a couple of these IPOs go belly up .. A couple of these silly ventures kick the bucket ... the money will chase more fundamental ventures...

For now, it's all about the fast cash.. Weekends of coca-cola and pizza trying to create the most hyped idea you can think of.... and like the housing/financial crisis, everyone is in denial the party will be coming to an end soon. Smart money though is cashing out and looking for the exit... Using the cash out to get back to the fundamentals?

"Even Gov. Jerry Brown, who this week appointed a retired banker as his top jobs advisor, can’t do much to boost the economy in the short term, apart from creating a more business-friendly atmosphere that encourages investment, Adibi said."

HA HA HA.....Moon Beam will never do it.....never.

California is such a beautiful place, so unfortunate the people in charge of it get elected over and over, and run it right into the ground...then get pizzed when they run out of businesses to comply with over burdened regulation and taxation. And now he is running out of people to tax cause everyone is on food stamps and unemployment. What to do, What to do.

Sadly in California .. Many aren't on food stamps who are eligible ... Why? Oh .. due in no greater part to the large amount of red tape :
