Our family of 5 is planning on moving from Scotts Valley, CA (near Santa Cruz) to Arroyo Grande. We have 3 girls, ages 5, 2 1/2, and 6 months. I'm hoping to find a great Parent Participation Preschool for my younger girls, any info on the preschools in the area would be great!

They go to the gym, golf, tennis, surf, bicycle, have coffee at Cafe Andreini, go hiking, lots to do, and keeping fit seems important in AG. There are no bad parts of town, where you live will be dependent on your budget. I recommend a rural parcel, 1 to 5 acres, room for a garden, and the inevitable horses. Oak Park, Noyes Road, Old Oak Park, Printz Road, also east of town off Lopez Drive or Huasna Road There are few if any homeless in Arroyo Grande, the odd one will walk through once in a while, but they tend to congregate in camps in Oceano, and along the creek in San Luis Obispo.
