Roll up your sleeves Californians and get to pickin.

Hey, maybe the UC Davis "Patriots" camping on the Quad lawn can get jobs picking the peppers for the hot sauce they got served up on their pie holes the other day. Seems like they have a bunch of extra time on their hands these days.

Heck I thought they needed the extra money for their tuition.

How hateful! I recently discovered the pleasures of the "ignore" feature. 'Bye, "Dad'".

Not sure what this rant has to do with the current article which states that the main cause for the out migration was due to the housing costs. This has more to do with the poor economy.

Turn your sarcasm meter.

Workers, the need for workers. Less migrants means less people to bring in the pepper crop. How else can they keep up with the demand with all the protests going on lately.

Here let me help you connect the dots:

From the OP's article-

Quote:
And there is no sign of the old luster returning. Migration all over the United States has slowed to a crawl in this recession, and the exodus from Mexico is diminishing because of border violence and U.S. job shortages. That means the state increasingly will have to rely on the people it produces to power the economy

So you want more migrants from Mexico crossing the border to help power the California economy?

And all this time I thought you were against illegal immigrants taking jobs away from American citizens.

I sure wish the freeways' congestion would reflect this.
